Best College Football Uniforms

Fox Sports announces their favorite college football uniforms.  Which team is your pick?

LSU - LSU is only one of two teams that get a pass on the purple and gold color combination (the Los Angeles Lakers are the other). LSU's flashy play that accompanies the uniforms is what makes the combination great in college football.

Florida - The Gators have a combination of royal blue jerseys and white pants or white jerseys and royal blue pants that fit well together. Both jersey combinations include the orange stripe to tie in to the orange helmet with the script Gators on it.
 
Auburn - The Tigers combine the navy blue, white and orange colors in a traditional manner that makes these uniforms pop. The striping on the helmet along with the Auburn University logo give the uniforms a classic feel.

Notre Dame - The Fighting Irish have great uniforms. You have to love the deep blue of the jerseys and the gold helmets look incredibly perfect. (The helmet shells are painted fresh gold every week.)

Georgia - Georgia is a team that doesn't try to duplicate other teams' uniforms to conform to a modern, "flashy" look. The result is a uniform that is exclusively "Georgia". Here is a look at other uniforms in college football that are unique to college football.

USC - USC keeps it simple. They have no updated helmet decal, no fancy piping just a good combination color and a traditional uniform look.

University of Oregon - Most people rip the Ducks for their somewhat "interesting" choices in uniform colors. The carbon-colored helmet is as unique as their alternate green, gold and black uniform combinations. While not at all traditional, the carbon color combination is actually pretty sleek.

Oklahoma - The red and white of the Sooners is nice but the best thing about the Sooners uniforms is the shine of the helmets. They must polish those puppies at halftime.

Virginia Tech - Virgina Tech uniforms has a nice, throwback look. The colored jerseys and white pants perfectly offset the orange stripes on the shoulder pad and helmets.

Penn State - The Penn State uniforms are simple and classy. The combination of navy blue and white looks great and the navy stripe on the helmet ties it all together.

UCLA - Powder blue is a hard color to pull off as a football player, but it suits the Bruins well. Aside from Oregon, UCLA has the most unique color combination with powder blue and gold. The script UCLA on the helmet also adds a throwback touch to the uniform look.

Texas - Texas' uniforms are just classic. The pants are pristine white and the helmet only rocks one of the most well-known symbols in college football. The double white stripe of the sleeves add to the retro feel of the uniforms.

Michigan - The "winged" helmet of the Wolverines is immediately recognizable and although the jersey and pants are solid colors, the combination is amazing! Michigan definitely has some of the most historic uniforms in college football.
