Residents, get your taste buds ready for some sweet delights!
Thanks to all those who helped in the February Ice Cream Socials. The communities are always decorated so nicely and the residents look forward to time of fellowship and a sweet treat! It's a pleasure for Newby Management to share in and host this anticipated event each year. As they manage these communities, it is always important to provide "extraordinary customer service", as Martin Newby has stated now for over 20 years!

Microwave Cleaning
Put a 4-cup capacity microwave-safe bowl filled with chopped citrus (lemon, lime or orange) and 1 cup of water. Since microwave wattage varies, cook until the water boils. CAUTION: To prevent being scalded, let the water cool for at least 15 minutes before opening the door to wipe out the microwave.

A Bit of Humor:
A young woman was preparing a ham dinner. After she cut off the end of the ham, she placed it in a pan for baking. Her friend asked her,”Why did you cut off the end of the ham”? And she replied ,”I really don’t know but my mother always did, so I thought you were supposed to.”
Later when talking to her mother she asked her why she cut off the end of the ham before baking it, and her mother replied, “I really don’t know, but that’s the way my mom always did it.”
A few weeks later while visiting her grandmother, the young woman asked, “Grandma, why is it that you cut off the end of a ham before you bake it?”
Her grandmother replied, “Well dear, otherwise it would never fit into my baking pan.”
